Problems With Rapidshare

Is anyone else a member of Rapidshare ?

If so do you find times when the download servers are not working or a slow speed ?.  I find that quite often when I try to download the speed is unacceptable for a few hours.  It never used to be that bad ?

Sometimes it does go a bit funny, but equally it could be a problem at your end.

Does your ISP have any bandwidth restrictions in place? Could be that they're throttling your speeds during peak times or something.

I get a max of 60 kb / s but that's good since I only have 0.5 meg broadband.  If you're a member you should be downloading at your connection's top speed.

But this evening it's dropped to virtually nothing.  If I try again in an hour it will prob be fine.

They have changed the download limit to 3 gb a day.  But that's still more than enough.

Hi Jazz, I use Rapidshare all the time and get a constant speed of 1.5  I am using Virgin which is DSL if you are using ADSL (Orig Telephone line) the speeds are sometimes up and down.

If you hate copy and pasting each individual link into the address bar, I have a nice liitle firefox addon that lets you select all the rapidshare links copy them and paste them all in just 1 go.  If you need the link to the app I will be happy to give it to you.

Yes if you have the link that would be great...

The main problem I find is if I have two or more files downloading at the same time.   What I really need is a download manager that can schedule the downloads so that the next file is downloaded automatically after the first ?
