I'd just get the raw powders unflavoured from a sponsor (such as myprotein.co.uk) and make your own. Can then determine exactly what is in it and saves you £

    Raw dead Lift 320kg
    Raw bench 171kg
    Shirted bench 200kg

For example, just had my PWO shake:

    2 scops whey
    1 scoop maltodextrin
    5g vitamin b5
    1/2 scoop nesquik

    Hmmmmmmmmn

    Raw dead Lift 320kg
    Raw bench 171kg
    Shirted bench 200kg
    Amateur cage fighter @ 95 - 105kg

    Agreed again.

IMO your far better off making your own. At least that way you can not only tailor it to your exact requirements but also, you know EXACTLY whats been put into it as well.

I used to use Progain and did so for quite some time. There is not doubting the quality of the product, or any other of Maximuscle's range for that matter, but it is grossly overpriced. You best bet is to do as other have suggested and make your own weight gainer out of the raw products (such as unflavoured whey and oats). You will save yourself a small fortune.

There is nothing personal in this but Id never use any maximuscle products. Every single one of them is overpriced and endorsed by some rugby player that you've never heard of. Value for money and ***EDITED - You cannot substantiate this claim*** Im sure though they would be better than no supplements atall, but why pay more for less? Reflex or USN supplements are what I use, if you order lots of stuff from USN you get a sexy T shirt and gym towel, if thats not an incentive then what is!?!?

i wouldnt say never heard of..Josh Lewesy is a mjor rugby player. But on that note i wouldnt use maximuscle or any other brand. Why bother when you can tailor things to how you want them by ordering from Myprotein.co.uk.

well you know EXACTLY what is in progain aswell dont you, it tells you on the tub? but yes i totally agree, i used to use maximuscle a long time ago before i knew of places like myprotein etc. nothing at all wrong with maximuscle products but the difference in price is HUGE.
