well i went for my second day workout yesterday, i worked out my back and shoulders, triceps and biceps and finished with some abs.

i did behind the head press with the bar i did 4sets of 8 with 8 plates on.

I then did dumbell rows i used the 17.5kg dumbell i did 2 sets of 8 reps
then i did shoulder press on the machine, i did 10 reps 3 sets using 6 plates, then i used dumbells using the 10kg weight for standing shoulder press, i did 6reps with those and to make it 10 reps i dropped the weight to 7.5kg dumbell.
after that i went to do tricep pushdowns, using 4plates doing 3 sets and 8 reps.

i finaly finished with some 12.5kg dumbell curls. doing 3 sets of 5 reps then finishing off with 10kg dumbell to reach 10 reps.
when that was finished i worked out my abs.
inbetween that i have been taking my creatine mono since tuesday, i think i can feel the benefits already, mainly in the recovery time from each set.

Today i am going to do my legs and some abs and CV. i woke up at 9am to take my first creatine shake of the day,
i need help with a diet to help me with my training, can anyone reccomend a basic diet which will help me with gains please.
    my stats are as follows,
    Date:20 July 2006.
    Age:28
    Height: 5'7
    Weight: 10.6
Waist: 32.5 (wanna get down to a 31)
    Thigh:Left-20" Right-21"
    Left Bicep-14" Right Bicep-14"
    Chest: 38"

i will be measuring my stats again in 3 weeks, and posting pictures of my development.

    here are a few pics,

not much to be honest, i have been training on and off since 99 and only in the past yr i have been doing it properly, i have a problem with putting weight on even tho i have an under active thyroyd and am taking a small dosage of thyroxide to balence the T3 and T4 or whatever it is its meant to ballance. i am always around 10.4-8 stone. can you give me a good meal plan that i could follow which isnt too expensive to get, one that will give me gains and hopefully lose some bodyfat, im trying to get down to a 31"waist as currently im 32.5"waist, i was at one point a few yrs back 30"waist.

yeah deadlifts do involve the legs quite a lot..well they're really like an all over exercise. have you considered squatting?

well today i have been having a rest, i am too busy to go to the gym tonite, as it shuts at 7. last nite i was naughty, i had a meat feast pizza, i left 3 slices, i dont eat ****, just once every couple of weeks. tonite im going to asda with my fiancees mum and am going to hunt the bargin asda own stuff for tuna, and some chicken breasts. i also want to say that my creapure is not bloating me, which i am supprised about. it is Reflex creapure, for the guys who were asking me, its nice to know that i am not alone on here when starting out, training PROPERLY lol, as i want to start eating 5 meals a day, i did it a few yrs back and got good results, but as you lads and ladies know it is hard to fit in around daily stuff( im currently not working at the moment). But i will try, saturday i will be going to the gym to do a bit of everything, prolly try the deadlifts out. the asda order has just arrived, i orderd some nuts, as i keep hearing they are good for you, i got monkey nuts, my favourite, are those nuts ok to eat???

does anyone find it hard to workout in this heat i do, but i think to myself that the sweating is good for me lol.

anyway i will sign off for now, any helpfull tips on training would be greatly appreciated.

tonite i went out to tesco with my fiancees mum, i got some cool bargins, i got 8 cans of tesco tuna in brine at 29p each, i thought wot the hell im here so i will take advantage of it. i also bought some olive oil for my meals, which i use. I bought a family size stirfry (freshly prepared, not frozen) with egg noodles, i had those for tea which were lovely. i also got 5 steaks for £2.50 the ones where you qickly cook them for a few mins, i was gonna get some chicken breasts but with this hot weather they looked dodgyand the sell by date was only a few days away. i got some natural cottage cheese if anyone can tell me what good thats for please tell me.

I hope to create a decent meal for the week with this, obviously not with just the things i bought, i have other things to eat obviously.
another thing i found lol, i found the scoop in my creapure tub lol, it is a tiny tub, i have been using a tea spoon to scoop it i think i have been slightly overloading, so i am only gonna have 3 sessions tomorrow as i believe the extra bits i have been taking may count for the few i will miss out on.

This morning me and my fiancee and her lad of 8 got up at 6 well she did i got up at 7, i necked down my first days creapure and then we headed off to meet her friends who have come up from southend on sea, we met at mcdonnalds for breakfast, i was dreading it in a way cos if the ****e food thats there, i had an egg mcmuffin and 2 hash browns, the egg mcmuffin had sausage in it, i thought it cant do any harm can it, apart from fuel me for the day,. i have just woke up from a nap and had my second creapure of the day, im gonna eat a can of tuna in about an hour or so, not working out today as my body aches from 3 days of workout from tuesday weds and thursday, i am gonna do tomorrow go and do some deadlifts and abs. The local gym shuts at 2 on a sat and sun so its quite inconvenient for training when you want a good workout and the weekends chores are upon me. but apart from that i will be upping my workout to 4x a week next week, going mon, tuesday, weds, thursday and day off friday and weekend,.

    Gman,

Post a typical days diet! Log everything you eat and the times you eat it and let the MT’ers lend a hand where they can.

Well done on starting a journal and all the best with achieving your aims!
