Protein Powder

Hi im currently using EAS 100% Myopro Whey Protein at the minute and was just wondering if this is good stuff or is there anything better around the same price or cheaper.

Ive been getting it from bodyactive-online.co.uk for £31.99 or £29.64 if I buy two. Any help would be very welcome thanks.

Loads of places / protein cheaper.

In terms of better - EAS is a good brand. They're owned by a big pharma firm I think (might be wrong), so quality will be on the button.

In terms of what I'd look at, Vyomax do some very cheap Whey protein if cost is an issue, if you want some great snacking / all day protein, CNP Pro-Peptide can't be beat, and in terms of Post-Workout Protein / Carb combos....Pro-Recover is excellent.

What are you going to be using the protein for and at what time of day?

That's a good brand that works, though you may find some cheaper. www.myprotein.co.uk is a good source.

My daily diet is usually something like

    8.30 – 3 wheetabix
    10.00 - 2 scoops (40g) EAS Whey Protein
11.30 - Nuts, sunflower seeds, fruit, carrots or green beans
    13.00 - 200g Chicken with pasta
15.00 - Nuts, sunflower seeds, fruit, carrots or green beans (opposite to what I had at 11.30)
    17.00 - Banana (pre workout)
19.00 - 2 scoops (40g) EAS Whey Protein (post workout)
    20.00 - 200g Chicken with salad
    22.00 - 100g Chicken

Im currently working away and staying in a Travelodge so have no cooking facilities so its hard to no what to eat, do you think I should change anything. Thanks for the help lads.

Ive had a look at myprotein.co.uk and think I might go for the unflavoured whey protein and add flavour myself does anyone no if this is any good.

Post a new topic in the diet section along with your stats and goals over the next 8 weeks.

At a quick glance, your diet is missing omega 3.
