Question for Doctor

Hi

Is is ok to carry on using clen or eca if Im currently on Fluoxetine 1 a day, will it interact and prevent either or both doing their job or will they still work independently of each other

    Yes they will both continue to work perfectly well mate.

    However some of the side effects of these drugs are similar, and can have an additive effect. You may find that adding clen or eca to your prozac will give you some unpleasant side effects (have a read of the clen sticky in this forum for more info on sides).

    So I would be careful and start with a very low dose of clen or eca. Increase slowly if side effects are acceptable.

    As said above there can be an accumulation of side effects.

    In terms of drug interactions, there should not be although I have seen one report which suggests that Ephedrine acts as a MAOI and as such this could result in SS (Serotonin Syndrome), however cant find other literature which supports this at present.

    Hi
    Ive been reading up and some reports say that EC and fluoxetine together are a good way to burn fat as fluoxetine aids wieght loss also

    does this sound right?
