Question for the Doc

Doc- I was wondering if Birth Control is affected when a woman uses anavar 5 or 10mg ed.

I cant think of any reason why it would but then again we just want to make sure.

What type of birth control is she using?

Generall anavar should not affect the efficacy of contraceptive methods.

Important point is taking the contraceptive as suggested, lack of this is the main reason for failure rates.

You may know this but someone find difficulty conceiving with this condition anyway, and the contraceptive pill she is on may be for two purposes, apart from contraception, to also help with the symptoms of endometriosis by regulating cycle.

Interestingly back in the day, we used to use a drug called Danazol to treat endometriosis and this is an androgen similar to anavar.

    Thanks Doc-

She already has 2 kids- and we want one of our own in a year or so. She is a high risk prenancy. And shes been trying different BC to find one that helps so she doesnt have to have Vicodin once a month.

    Thanks for the info!
