Questions for a newbie

Hey everyone,

I have a few questions about some steroids im about to take.
In about two months from now I will be starting a cycle of steroids, I will be taking either test syponate or test pronate (both injections) and orally d-bol. I'm a beginner to this but i have been working out now for about 5 years, currently I take 1000mg of milk thistle a day 1,200 mg of fish oil a multi vitamin and 500 mg of both vitamin c and b. I want to use these steroids as a way to cut down and lose weight I will be doing them with a friend who is a personal trainer and is very knowledgeable about the topic. Any suggestions? does this sound like a good first cycle? Any info would be a great help. Thanks

you dont use steroids for the sole purpose of losing weight.
change your diet and eat less and the right foods at that.
    EDUCATE YOURSELF MOST OF ALL!
Many great articles here on MT and also I like

No offence but if he's suggested steroids as a way to lose fat then he's deluded. No offence to the few decent PT's, but this is an example of the typical knowledge of a so called "Personal Trainer" who get their qualifications from the back of a Weetabix box.

Ignore him completely from now on as he's obviously deranged. The way to lose fat is diet and cardio - Simple as. There are no shortcuts.

Thanks

the overly simplified answer is no.

and the reason you hear the term "chemically assisted" is because the chemical only assists and supports your diet/training goals. if you're eating/training to gain size, aas will help your muscles grow. if you're trying to cut fat, aas will only help support your current level of muscle while your diet/cardio reduce the fat.

    cutting:

as said above, steroids will only support your goals. these diets are the foundation.

    edit:
also, make sure you understand the use of anti-e's and post cycle therapy. there is a ton of info here on MT about their use.

fat storage is down to excess calories, not d-bol.

While i'm taking the steroids my caloric intake will be around 1,000-1,200 based soley around protein intake and minimal fats carbs starches and little sugar. I will be doing cardio any where from 1-2 hours a day 5-6 days a week and lifting mostly core movements i.e. bench, squats, lunges, and taking a day off which will most likeyl be on sundays which i think will be the one day a weeke where i inject the test the rest of my work out will be normal which is now lifiting 5-6 times a week doing each body part 2x's a week. how does this sound should it be tweaked at all im going to try and get the most gains i can for muscle retention and fat loss should my caloric intake be upped?

    My complete stats are:
    Height 5'5''
Weight 216 LBS (I believe it would be around 16 stones, if im correct in thinking 1 stone is 14 lbs)
    Body fat is around 22%
    24 years old
My training history is as follows 5 years lifitng I was pretty active up untill the last year (i tore my rotator cuff) I train 5-6 days a week
I am a true endomorph I can gain weight and build muscle very quickly, but it is hard for me to lose weight. Thats what i have been struggling with

    Suppliments I currently take are:
    250 mg vitamin C
    250 mg vitamin B
    One A Day Multi vitamin
    1200 mg Fish Oil
    1000 mg Milk Thistle

I normally dont take anything else but for the past 3 weeks I have been taking a creatine suppliment and a muscle building suppliment called Promagnon 25, Which I have seen awesome gains with as far as cutting up.
Heres the link for the Promagnon 25

you sound like your built like a tank at 5'5" and 216. why use steroids? steroids are usually used more often for building MASS. Is this what you want? Put simply, do you really want to get bigger? if not, then just diet IMO. If weight loss is a problem for you, you may want to reconsider using steroids IMO. But of course feel free to ignore me LOL...haha

I'm rather flabby but i would really love to cut up, and its very hard for me to do this, thats why im considering roids because I wouldnt mind getting bigger but i've read that taking anabolics with help me cut as well as gain, further more i've seen guys in my highschool go from flabby to rock hard and thats really what im looking for. As far as advice goes I take everything in to consideration, thanks for your concern.

tj - have you listened to a word I've said?

STEROIDS DO NOT CUT YOU UP

I can't make it any clearer.

You need a diet and cardio - THAT'S IT!!! And while we're talking about diet, the one you propose above is pure and utter bollox.

    Bottom line:

    a) Forget roids period.
    b) Get yourself over to the diet forum - you need serious help here.
