Whats good for the goose and all that my friend. If she wants to torn up she should lift weights though. And I don't mean stand and lift a 2kg dumbbell in various directions for an hour, I mean lift as you do. She won't get massive, particularly if shes on a calorie deficit, but newbie gains should give her muscles a nice bit of pop for the beach.
