Quick Question...?

Im currently cutting for summer and have pretty much got the idea down. I try to avoid as many carbs as i can, but especially none in the evenings, while keeping protein up and as much fish as i can for omega 3's.

My gf wants to also lose weight/tone up for summer and i was wondering should she pretty much follow the same idea as me but just slightly smaller portions?

She's not into bodybuilding, just a general lose weight for bikini body sort of cut.

Any input would be great,

Thanks

Whats good for the goose and all that my friend. If she wants to torn up she should lift weights though. And I don't mean stand and lift a 2kg dumbbell in various directions for an hour, I mean lift as you do. She won't get massive, particularly if shes on a calorie deficit, but newbie gains should give her muscles a nice bit of pop for the beach.

    Cheers mate,

Im injured atm so not having the ideal cut but along with my diet im doing AM cardio about 3-4 times a week and gyming it maybe twice a week doing bi's tri's and abs. (the problems my shoulder so pretty much restricts everything else). I no its not ideal but best idea ive got.

Shes pretty much doing the running same as me atm, so if i tell her to gym twice a week doing full body workout both days, plus eat the same as me but smaller, she should be set?

    Thanks

She should try to follow pretty much exactly what you do. I set Jess up with a decent weights routine, good diet, etc - she just won the ladies SUC

She WON'T become muscly in any sort of short timeframe - even long term, its pretty tricky for girls, and a lot of men, lol!

She would be set, but for weights  to work they require real effort made by the muscles, not just going thru the motions.but a decent level of resistance is required obviously.
