RIP Leonard Nimoy

Genuinely sad now. 83 seems a very young age to die these days. The geek in me is properly in mourning.

    RIP
83 is a very good age to reach, hopefully he had a good quality of life til the end.

I think it was quite a sudden decline. Very poignant last tweet a few days ago too. He must have been expecting the worst.

    Damn that is sad.
Apparently this was his last tweet.

Heard it on the radio, didn't know he was sick. Wasn't he making a new film?

What a shame. A big part of my childhood years watching Star Trek. RIP.

Very sad. Spock was by far the best character on star trek.

RIP Spock, sad times, large part of my childhood. Watched star trek religiously as a kid. The newer versions were never as good.

83 is not a bad age for someone who smoked as much as he did. I know that he quit but it shows that once the damage is done there isn`t much one can do.
Still sad though,  I liked him in the original Mission impossible series as well as Star Trek

He left a very thoughtful final tweet and signed it off LLAP. he apparently tweeted from his hospital bed before his health finally deteriorated. I think it showed his character perfectly. Farewell Spock!
