RIP Stephen Hawkin

What a genius this guy was. In many ways it's amazing how he defied all odds to live so long with MND but then that makes you just think he'll be around forever.

He had a great sense of humour and always seemed up for a laugh too. I think he is a lesson to us all about getting on with it despite life's challenges.

A genius indeed. Hard to believe he was only given 2 years to live after diagnosis.

The film 'The Theory of Everything' was excellent, shows what a character he was and how he had such a good sense of humour.

Without the likes of Stephen Hawkin, Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin etc, we'd be much more in the dark in our knowledge of evolution, the workings of the universe etc. Hawkin made a great contribution.

Yes a common misspelling with the S on the end.  Who are you correcting though?

It's quite worrying that one of the biggest proponents of the human species' need to move beyond our earth in order to survive has passed on. Let's hope others with a similar capacity can take up the mantle......otherwise we are fooked!

RIP.
I noticed so many variations of his name on Facebook this morning I had to post about it!  Every combination of  Steven/Stephen Hawkin/Hawkins/Hawking/Hawkings/Hawkins/Hawkinge .... was surprised not to see Hawkwind.

Now, I am no Grammar Nazi, but come on? When posting in memorandum, surely spelling the subject name properly is the least one can do? Just copy it from the flaming news post you have just seen it on if you are not sure?

No, Not that Dr Z.  Please don't bother PM'ing me for 'Price Lists'  You have the wrong guy.

That made me lol for some reason. So you don't have any mates that are or have been Labour supporters?

As for Hawking, RIP. A truly iconic figure and respected mind. A real loss to the world.

Absolutely not I don’t need that sort of negativity in my life.

All jokes aside as a human being he was truly remarkable just for living let alone his other work which will no doubt place him with the great minds of history.

Sad to hear about it. Truth is if he hadn't lived in our times people probably wouldn't believe his story and would just say it was all exaggeration and myth, how much he did with his life despite such a debilitating condition seems like fiction.

Best put those numbers away or somebody will be along shortly to work out how Hawking was part of the Illuminati and his death was sanctioned.
