Reps everywhere!

Yup food is super important especially when juicing, in fact studies show people on gear can grow without actually lifting. Not so if you aren't putting in the building blocks though.

Brett its time to step it up ,was getting sick of the softly softly approach it served its purpose but its time to get on with it now ,chest is a bit tender today 😮

Normally my diet is pretty bang on but been struggling a bit this week but now back on track my mam said "Christ don't you ever stop eating you'll get fat you know)

She's doing great thanks mate all the bruising has just about gone now and the swelling has gone right down.I was worried as normally she doesn't heal fast and didn't want her going home in a right state that would have given my tw@t of a sister ammunition to have a go at me ....behind my back though

I came in today after some bag work she spotted my gloves and said " keep the training up if you want a shot at the title" I replied "I am ready to take you now" to which she replied "As usual your ambition out strips your ability I use to wipe your ass when you were little but been kicking it ever since" fcukin priceless LMAO

Mate, that's nothing to be sniffed at.  A 3 minute round on the heavy bag is killer.

Brett she's a bloody cheeky sod LOL

Looks loads better when I took ill I looked like I bought a skin suit 3 sizes to big it was hanging off me but filled it back up now ☺

Nails by the third round I was flagging just chucking haymakers in desperation a lot like Frank Bruno used to do LOL I have got to get up to 4 rounds and increase the length of the punch out drills that's going to be fun.

DV I told you that in confidence but at least you didn't tell people I had to install a seat on it as I couldn't hold on for 3 mins

Hom3r I will post some up soon for your opinion on whether I have been done or not

Having a nightmare posting pics on here just tells me the files to big so got to shrink it down and it then looks cr@p what the hell am I doing wrong this place has gone to the bloody dogs!!

Todays EPIC sesh was back and bis

WG pulldowns = 34 x8, 36 x 8, 38 x 8, 40 x 8 (up 6kgs on Lt)
Facepulls = 16x12, 18x12, 20x12 (up 4 KGS on Lt)
Seated rows = 58x8, 60x8, 62x8, 64x8 (up 8kgs on last time)
Rev grip pulldowns = 32x12, 34x12, 36x12 (up 4 on last time)

Ez curls = 24x8, ,26x8, 28x8, 30x8 (up 6 on Lt) pleased with these 🙋
Rev grip 10x12, 12x12, 14x12 (up 2 )
Cable rope hammers 12x8, 14x8, 16x8, 18 x8 (up 4 on Lt)

Back is feeling strong loving the progression that's going on felt it on seated rows but things still moved well will have to up the weight on reverse grip pulldowns played it a bit safe but can definitely go up further.

Ez curls were a revelation thought I would struggle after back work but the curls went really well rev grip was a bit of a struggle but rope hammers felt good.

Hit all reps and no struggles no complaints at all

Bag work

1 x 3 minute round
12 second punch out drill

1x3 minute round
14 second punch out drill

1 x 3 min round
16 second punch out drill

2nd round hit the bag with a awkward shot pain shot through my arm a lot like when you hit a rock with a pick axe still carried on through the rest although made sure shots connected  thankfully tonight wrist and forearm only feel a bit stiff .....it happens

YOB update new seat fitted, hydraulic oil topped up,new air filter fitted and every joint greased tomorrow going to top off the diesel tank and fire it up and start grafting first job tow a enormous tree stump up to the top site then to start digging out for pipe work excited as hell with a feeling of dred

Do you wrap your hands or use gloves?  If it's a "heavy" bag you should, very easy to mess up your wrists otherwise.  Of course there's an argument for proper punching mechanics but unless you throw a perfect punch with perfect alignment, every time then you need wraps or gloves.

Have you tried throwing elbows at it?  Helps your punching mechanics are you have to rotate and get your hip into it.  Also gives your wrists a break while still being awesome conditioning.

Nails that's spooky mate  I actually ordered some hand wraps today to support my wrists better ,use to have them before and they worked at treat forgot all about them tbh.I do use mitts (gel filled) I prefer the mma ones better than the normal bag mitts

Elbows sounds like a good idea will give them a go next time.

Today I took the YOB for a spin bit daunting to start off with 😱

But moved 15 ton of gravel with the front bucket it was AWESOME quite a few @rse going moments steering is vague at best but overall its class the fcukin power the YOB has is unreal I drove off without raising the back support legs it just powered up the drive cutting two trenches as it went LOL.

Tomorrow got to tow a huge tree stump and then use back hoe to dig a big fcuk off hole ...love it should have bought one years ago
