Sounds like a right fun job mate! Isn’t the trenching what you bought the yob for anyway?

I always do ham curls single leg. I find doing both does use my lower back more, despite how much I try to isolate the legs.

I did buy the YOB for this very job problem is the top site is basically sitting on a sh1t load of huge boulders soon as you get the big bucket on digging it hits one I really need a trenching bucket for it but they are like hens teeth over here and although I could get one brand new they are a lot of cash.

But all is not lost I am using the front bucket to level off ground for drive ways plus I will be needing around 200 ton of gravel for the site so its going to come in for that as well ,and once I get off the top site I need to dig in some new soak aways for the sceptic tanks so the back hoe will come into its own as the ground is perfect for it.

I am going to give training legs singular a go, I know for a fact the weights are going to be absolutely p1ss poor I have lost all confidence in my left leg tbh especially when it just gives way for no apparent reason ,hopefully this might put things right

Good stuff mate. Only thing I’ll add with training leg ext is avoid legs coming too far under seat stick with 90 degrees. Also avoid slamming down plates as the sudden removing of weight and reengaging it again seems to play havoc with my knees. Was much better to keep them under load just tapping the plates together. Hope that helps bud.

Cheers Brett I will do just that I always take that type of approach when training the top half never go to full lockout etc but never thought to do it on legs tbh so will adopt it

Appreciate it mate

Today it was back/bis already back filled about 200metres of trenches before this one I actually thought it was shoulders today but no ....really fcuked that up lol

WG pulldowns = 38 x8, 40 x 8, 42 x 8, 44 x 8 (up 4kgs on Lt)
Facepulls = 18 x12, 20 x12, 22 x12 (up 2kgs on Lt)
Seated rows = 64 x 8, 66 x 8, 68 x 8, 70 x 7 (up 6kgs on last time) dropped a rep just couldn't get it
Rev grip pulldowns = 36 x 12, 38 x 12, 40 x 12 (up 4 on last time)

Ez curls = 28 x 8 ,30 x 8, 32 x 8, 34 x 8 (up 4 on last)
Rev grip 12 x 12, 14 x 12, 16 x 12 (up 2 )
Cable rope hammers 14 x 8, 16 x 8, 18 x 8, 20 x 8 (up 2 on last)

Well it started off good but I got to seated rows and began to struggle a bit then I just couldn't get the last rep on last set and then the battle began I scrapped like hell after that.

By the time I got curls my arms were feeling it ez curls went good considering, but the rest is just a blur of sweat and swearing lol.

Jesus that was a fcukin hard session basically because I fcuked up on my routine days there's no way I would have back filled trenches on a back day I did think about changing to shoulders instead but thought fcuk it

Yeah that turned out to be another great decision but still managed to better previous weights and apart from seated rows hit all the reps but that was without doubt my hardest session yet.

Other news my sub q shot last night was the best one yet went in at the love handles no red patch, stinging or anything today finally figured out I was probably injecting to fast so tried a new way basically push a bit in wait 10 secs then a bit more etc worked a treat, will get the hang of this one day lol

Going to give it another month then run bloods I do feel better but just feel I might need a bit more than 100mgs a week something just feels a bit off.

Its not a surprise though I expected this as previous labs all showed that I was naturally high in test and basically this wasn't enough for me to run properly so anticipated that shutting myself down would result in me needing a higher dose than normal.

The tests will show me where I am at now so I can adjust from there, hopefully I am not to far away and don't need a fcukin litre a week lol

Your back will still have loved the extra work you gave it. I tend to do my subQ in 3 little rest pause phases, not steady enough with such a small jab to be meticulously slow when jabbing so that method seems to do the job

I'm a bit late to the party but good news on the hand wraps, they make all the difference on a heavy bag.

I don't get any bloat that I'm aware of from a TRT test dose, no, more likely to be the gluten I reckon

Think of the digging as pre-fatiguing your back session!

Solid work though bud and sounds like no niggles surfaced! Great stuff!

Pre exhaustion LOL not a thing I will be getting into if that's what its like my back was killing in a good way.

Cheers dude niggles seem to be leaving me alone (touch wood) I very rarely get them doing hard graft was belted and strapped to fcuk though its always something like farting and then I slip a disc or sprain my @ss.

Bag work today mixed things up a bit

1x 3 min round

Rest 1 min

1 x 1 minute power shots
15 sec punch out drill

Rest 1 mint   Then start over again

Ran the above 3 times through made for a great session but was knackered by the end power rounds are a bad enough by themselves but adding a punch out drill on the end turned them into a killer.

For a strange reason bag work is really helping my lower back problems just seem to be getting more flexible and taking the pressure off got to concentrate on foot placement to avoid twisting my knee but on the whole loving these sessions.

Finally coming out of this gluten thing guts still feel a bit off bloat and huge f@rts all the time but things are settling upped my glutamine and drinking kefir really helping to settle it.

Been fcukin starving the last 2 days just piling the food in its like having the munchies just can't fill up........very bizzare

Okay the top site now has water all lines in,all pressure tested and the top 3 statics have all been tested and now have a full water supply  even the last 4 plots are ready to go thanks to yours truly lol

I am now going to be spending some quality with the love of my life.......the YOB .....we have to put in some driveways and parking spots so a bit ground levelling, skimming off with the back bucket ,skimming with the front bucket and dumping of gravel is in order really looking forward to it tbh.

Never knew how much fun diggers are should have bought one years ago

All the subtle rotation from the bag work punching will probably be giving the lower back some nice mobility work.

Sounds like the YOB is giving back some nice rewards on the site. Glad that's coming together ans you haven't yet wrecked anything (you haven't have you?)... I reckon it could make a great grown up style theme park attraction, you can offer digger tuition courses and everything

It does feel like heavy bag is loosening my lower back up a treat and taking the pressure off things. You don't realise how much you must subconsciously keep that area tense when you have sciatica and as you will well know tension and sciatica don't go well together.

I do like the way you have to ask if I have wrecked anything with the YOB LMAO I haven't yet but I can't promise this will continue lol.Could be onto something there dude like a really unsafe type of digger land

I was skimming off some top soil with the front bucket under the guidance of the Mrs anyway when you skim the bucket tends to dig in and the front wheels come off the ground so your powering through with the back wheels. At this point I had the Mrs frantically directing me to turn left a bit whilst I am shouting "HOW THE FCUK CAN I GO LEFT WITH THE FCUKIN FRONT WHEELS IN THE AIR"

You can actually use the rear wheels to steer as you can brake them independently but that's a bit complicated at the minute I have only just got to grips with the front bucket LOL

You should have seen my first attempt at skimming I dropped the bucket and just hit the power I then tipped the bucket back raised it and set off to the dumping pile with what I thought was a full bucket when I tipped it there wasn't enough soil to fill a plant pot well the Mrs just set of laughing and that just set me off as well LMAO

I have got better now though proper full buckets.
