Today I decide to try some light leg extensions to see how knee holds up and reckon they will be less pressure than squats so

Light Leg ext 8x20,8x22,8x24,8x26,8x28 ( ridiculously light but no problems)
Cable rows,8x34,8x36,8x38,8x40,8x42 ( can go up start at 40 )
Rev grip pulldowns 8x26,8x28,8x30 ( to light start at 32 )
Sa cable curls 8x8,8x10,8x12,8x12 ( start at 10 next time)

I am always wary of my knee having it just collapse on me with no warning signs loads of times in the past and really can't afford the recovery time so the kid gloves are well and truly on.

First set of rows felt heavy until I noticed the cable had slipped out of the guide wheel after that it was easy.....thank fcuk I thought I was going backwards LOL.Pulldowns felt to light so start a bit heavier next time.

Curls were OK its more of a finisher anyway

Overall no complaints back is feeling stronger each week so progress is there

Why the fcuk does this thing keep changing my words who's bright idea was this? turn the fcuker off ,sick of going through my potatoes to see what its changed

What are using that auto-corrects your words? Potatoes is so much funnier than posts. I'd be hilarious if I could get the same spell check system as you.

Stupidly hot today really not looking forward to this workout ,bit old skooll indie for tunes as need a more chilled approach than my usual Tremonti smacking seven shades of sh1te out of his guitar.

Very sketchy incline 8x44,8x46,8x48,8x50,8x52 (can go up)
Inc fly's 8x8,8x8,8x8
Sa cable press 8x12,8x12,8x12,8x12,8x12 (kept to 12 heat is proving difficult)
Cable fly's strict 8x4,8x4,8x4 (kept at 4 for these)
Curl grip tri pulldowns 8x14,8x16,8x18,8x18 (18 for end 3 next)

Was going to quit halfway through the shed is the hottest its ever been and it was proving bloody hard to get through anything.Big achievement just to make it to the end

Bench can go up but apart from tris the rest stayed the same just basically ran out of steam. At least I didn't drop the weights down so its something.

Other news
Probably going to take a little bit of fine tuning on the aromasin I felt I had gone a bit low estro wise but not to far away from ideal.I never thought it was going to be easy to dial it in but I am not far off at all ,anxiety is down but just not quite there.trial and error.

Awesome work getting sh1t done in this heat. If I was training outside in that heat I'd have a barrel of water handy to keep dousing my head in between sets. Make sure you keep hydrated mate.

Also had to laugh at the poltergeist. Don't even remotely believe in that stuff. I know lots of fols that are convinced though. But then gain there people who believe Elvis is still alive. I guess it's what you want to believe though you find facts to fit the picture.

LMAO at the spell checker. Reminded me of this card:

I won't be training like that again felt a bit off all last night which wasn't helped by the Mrs calling me a idiot !! It was 49°c today in parts of Portugal they have issued a red warning for the next week so I am going to have to train late at night and brave the spiders!

I am going to fire up the fan and keep plenty water on hand.......watch the fan blow a huge spider on me face whilst I am benching LOL

I fear Louis and the god squad more I can see this getting right out of hand I could see it in his face he was getting excited at the thought of being part of some half arsed exorcism LMAO

LOL at that card!! This spell check is a bloody nightmare no the wonder the sales guy was smiling when he sold me this tablet!!

49deg... I'm off to Menorca Saturday and it's going to be in the 30s all week, with a coastal breeze I'll probably come back crimson. But 49, that's not even slightly funny. When we were in Tunisia the other year the locals were moaning how bad it was the week before at 42

Brett mate its stupidly hot,it's all over the news with red warnings and showing the digital readings of some chemist shop in Portugal reading 49°c.

The airs hot and you'll know yourself  when its just the sun its bearable but when its the air as well its like being in a oven.

Went out today  to dig a 5ft trench  for water pipe and was soaked through in about 5mins finished in record time and ended up watching the TV with the air con blasting for the rest of the day.I am not training till this heatwave is over lol

We use to have a portable one but it couldn't cope and when you have a menopausal Mrs who's having hot flushes and gets highly irritated in the heat it pays to get a air con unit that can drop the temp to freezing in no time.

I can now watch the TV without having some red faced lunatic running about telling the sun to FCUK OFF!!! LOL

Portugal is on red alert for the heat so what fcukin Muppet would try to work in this..............me!!........... and for the last 2 days I have been recovering from heat exhaustion feel like I have the flu, dizziness, pounding headaches and palpitations. The slightest bit heat triggers it off so just sitting in from of the air con.

On the plus I don't have to walk the dogs,or do any household tasks so I fear recovery will be  a slow process LOL
