When you say eating helps with your anxiety what do you mean mate?

From my own experience, becareful linking the 2 together in anyway as that’s how eating disorders (either over or under) begin... youve done fantastically putting the weight on mate hit it for any reason you needed to change something, that mental connection would make it tough..

of all the demons we face in life, the worst kind is the ones we make ourself!

Animal I get exactly where your coming from, my problem before was I basically would eat a pitiful amount then start hard physical graft then get dizzy which then use to start a panic attack and increase my anxiety. This would obviously happen to anyone not enough fuel in but as you will know it gets blown out of proportion when you have a anxiety problem.

Since I have been eating well this doesn't happen so it just takes the edge off things and keeps me calm it hasn't cured my anxiety by any stretch just helps in a small way.One less thing to stop the bloody what ifs

I had my DNA tested last year and it came back with some serious mutations which after a sh1t load of research I am now in the process of treating hence the trt programme plus other things ,which tbh is showing some excellent progress.

Like you say don't put your eggs in one basket that never ends well,my problem is accumulation of differing things that need to be treated individually.

Thanks mate really appreciate the concern

I reckon my lifts might go down though as the adrenaline rush when my old bench would creak and groan just won't be there anymore lol

You say that but take into account my shed floor isn't exactly stable (needs all replacing) so the prospect of it giving way is always there.

I woke up today face swollen, belly bloated to fcuk, feeling all to hell and exhausted yet again I have been glutened by of all things the deep fat fryer the Mrs had used it for fish fingers a while ago and I made chips last night not thinking anything of it.I am in a right fcukin mess again but got a session in

Seated db press 12 x 8, 14 x 8, 16 x 8, 18 x 8 (changed to try out new bench)
Front raises 14 x 12, 16 x 12, 18 x 10 (up 2 on Lt) dropped 2 reps
Uprows 34 x 8, 36 x 8, 38 x 8, 40 x 8  (up 4kgs on last)
Cable fly's 4 x12, 5 x 12, 6 x 12 (up 1 on last)

High cable crunch 16 x 8, 18 x 8, 20 x 8, 22 x 8 (up 6 on last)
Mid cable twists 4 x 12, 5 x 12, 6 x 12 (up 2 on Lt)
Seated crunch 12 x 8, 14 x 8, 16 x 8, 18 x 8 (up 2 on Lt)
Planks 2 sets fcukin hell

Struggled with this today just got very little energy and probably would have been best to have left it but because I was so p1ssed with this gluten sh1t I went ahead anyway.

Dropped a couple of reps on front raises but overall bettered the last session seated db curls felt good new bench gives far more support than my old one so will be keeping these in.Front raises were p1ss poor took some moving.

Ab work went really well but Jesus Christ planks are like some god damn torture my body was literally shaking during them lol.

All in all not a bad one today just really fcukin p1ssed off with this gluten thing 😠

Couple of shots on the new bench and my pulley machine thing.Look at how sort of tidy my gym is now

Being honest since trying up the dungeon I am starting to change my mind about building a new gym might just replace the floor and buy a big shed so I can clear out the back part and install a cable crossover in there.

I mean I love the castle dungeon look of my shed and it does stay sort of cool in the summer.

Also the Mrs wants a new dining table and chairs I have found a 8 x 4 slate bed pool table that converts into a dining table so I have worked out that if I buy that plus replace my shed floor and buy a cable cross over plus a shed for the stuff at the back of mine its still coming in a lot cheaper than building a new gym.Plus if I don't build a gym in the garden the Mrs could have a pool and that's exactly how I am going to sell this new idea LOL

Didn’t your mrs want a Rower too? Great bit of kit mate, best cardio you can do!

Look what I’ve found..

It’s an outdoor table and chairs.. which turns into a pool table, table tennis etc best of both worlds!

Now that's a proper home gym, I love it. The dungeon look is a winner for me mate.

Some really nice tables on that link exactly what I am after tbh. Will be sending them a email cheers

Yeah she wants a rower I put forward my plans for the dungeon including a row machine, cable crossover, uprating the floor and clearing it all out and buying a shed to put it in and she's all for it.

Also looks like the dining come pool table is a go

I have promised to build her some stables for the horses with the money we have saved so more graft for me but its going to be worth it lol
