Ready for the bulk..first cycle...SD here I come

Right first of all a little background info...I've been working out for about 2 years now but only since September have I taken it seriously sorting out my diet, routine, etc. 

I was a scrawny 9st 6lbs when I was 17 and was sick of it, like I said my training wasnt very good when I started and even though put on alot of weight quite a bit of fat came with it.  Im 20 years old, 5ft 10 weighed 13st 8lbs since Feb and have cut myself down to 12st 2lbs, Im starting to get some definition and am going to continue to cut up untill Sept.

When Sept comes Im bulking with avengence. Ive never done a cycle before and never thought about it (before I joined here).

Ive been doing a bit of reading and I think I have sorted it out. Im starting this journal so I can keep a personal log and also to hopefully get some good input and advice (which there seems to be an abundance of here). So this is what it will look like:

Its basically the same as the suggested cycle found here except with a few added goodies


I will be taking these supplements throughout my cycle:

1000mg Milk Thistle ed
1200mg RYR ed
60mg CoQ10 ed
3g Taurine ed
6 x 1000mg Omega 3 ed 
multi vits
creatine mono 5g ed (during PCT only)


The superdrol I will be using is found here
Week 1:
20mg ed Superdrol
Week 2:
20mg ed Superdrol
Week 3:
20mg ed Superdrol (Might up to 30mg, I'll see how I get on)


My PCT will consist of:


PCT Day 1:
60mg Nolva
PCT Days 2-11:
40mg Nolva
PCT Days 12-21:
20mg Nolva


(Do you guys think I should use clomid instead? Bit worried about delayed gyno)


As for diet I will be keeping the calories high around 3000-3500 (I will post a more specific diet just before I start, as well as posting some pics if your lucky)


And finally my routine will consist of a 4 day split being 


Mon - Back/Bis/Traps
Wed - Chest/Tri
Fri - Legs
Sat - Chest/Delts


Although I have read 4 days may be too much (what do you think) in which case it will look like this:


Mon - Back/Bis/Traps
Wed - Chest/Tri
Fri - Legs/Delts


I will probably keep cardo to a minimal a bit of an uphill walk after a workout.

    Ive spent quite a bit of time reading about sd pct and am really confused, could anyone shine any light on what they think would be better for pct clomid or nolva

    I believe clomid is the choice for SD as there is a narrow risk of delayed gyno with nolva + SD.

    I know little about it, though this has always been the advice I've seen on the boards.

    Right, I've decided to start my cycle early as I felt a little left out seeing as theres loads of people that have started.
     
    I started yesterday I'm currently taking 20mg Gentic Edge SD ed for 3 weeks then Nolva three week protocol
     
    Supps:
    2 x Red rice yeast and Coq10
    4 x Omega 3
    2 x MutliVits
    2 x Milk Thistle (which hasnt arrived yet but will be buying some today)
    3-5g Taurine
     
    Diet wise my average diet looks like this:(Havnt got the macro breakdown as im at work)
     
    Meal 1: 30g Whey
                60-80g Oats
                2 slices Wholemeal Bread with tablespoon of Whole Earth PB each slice
                10mg SD
                Supps as listed above
     
    Snack: Large Handful of nuts
     
    Meal 2:130g Tuna
                Light Mayo
                50g (ish) Broccolli
                Few Carrots
                Banana
     
    Meal 3:120-150g Chicken
                50g (ish) Broccolli
                Few Carrots
                100g Brown Basmati Rice
     
    Meal 4 (pre wo): Home Made protein Flapjack  same except there twice the size and no choc

    Yeasterday wo wise was Back and Biceps:
     
    Deadlift 4x 10 (110kg unfortunately thats the highest my gym goes but i get it free so i cant complain)
    DB rows 6x8x8x10 (37.5x35x35x30, again 37.5 is max db...sucks i know, gonna join a new gym when i can afford it)
    Lat Pulldown 6x8x8x10 (70x65x65x60)
    Shrugs 4x10 (37.5)
    21'sx3 (30)
    EZ Cable Bicep Curl 4x8 (25)
     
    Definately dont have Doms as bad so recovery seems to be quicker today so decided to do chest triceps today:
     
    (Had 400mg of caffeine too pre wo)
    DB Flyes 4x8 (25)
    Flat db press 8x8x10x10 (37.5x37.5x35x35)
    Incline DB 4x10 (30)
    Skullcrushers 4x10 (30)
    Tricep Pulldown 4x10 (32.5)
     
    That was one of the most intense sessions in a while as i had the gym to myself.
     
    The only thing is that after i now feel a little sick it was a few hours ago and I feel a little light headed still dont know if im over reacting but think my BP may be up a little gonna check it whe i get home tonight might get some garlic as well. Apart from that alls good, really looking forward to it. If iceis anything to go by im hoping to add the same as him he seems to be flying through so hoping for at least a gain of 14 pounds if i kept 12pounds after pct i would be over the moon with that to got a lot of work to do.
     
    Hopefully I'll be able to updat daily (well thats what im aiming for) so ill let you know about gains, sides, etc.

    Getting a little worried...since my workout Ive felt a little tight chested, short of breath, pressure in my head and ears and a little shakey dnt know if it is cos of an intense workout, the caffeine or sd or if im just worrying over nothing? Wondering if anyone could shine any light on the situation for me i would really appreciate it cos like i said im a bit concerned

    Good luck with cycle mate.

    Diet looks good to me... plenty of carbs and protein.
    Also, sticking some oats in with the PWO shake i have found has worked well.

    A 4 day split will be good. Certainly not too much either... I have been training 2 days on 1 day off thoughout the cycle, and I've been fine. Recovery will become quicker during cycle as well.

    For PCT is really is matter of choice. Yes, clomid is looked upon as a better choice by some ppl, but nolva also seems to work well. There are risks of delayed gyno with what ever you choose. Just do make an informed choice and explore both options.
    I have opted for nolvadex, and have been using a similar supp stack to you too.

    400mg of caffeine seems like a hell of a lot! I reckon the symptoms you are describing are a result of crashing after that amount of caffeine. I believe that if you're going to stack caffeine with up to 3g taurine, you shouldn't exceed 100mg caffeine. (http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/article-taurine-sports-supplement.aspx).

    Also logging your workouts is useless without telling us the WEIGHTS! Do it!

    Do be honest I had a banging headache all day, i think my bp was quite high.

    Had a banging headache for the first 15 min then it completely disapeared for the rest of the day. Felt a lot stronger today i felt like i could have done a bit more as well and should have but didnt want to set of my headache.


    Weight wise no signifiant incease as of yet although i have put on 2lbs which i could have done with diet really.


    When do most people start to see the most significant weight gain?

    Right Ive been quite busy lately and havnt been updating as much as i wanted.

    On week three of my cycle now but having a small dilema, my diet has been spot on for these two weeks as had training, ive had some of the most intense workouts ever in these last two weeks, my stregth is definately up but my weight has hardly moved. Iv put on around 4-5 lbs?? Whereas most people by this strage are reporting a weight gain of at least double this. 

    Now this week im going to up my calories where i can (my appitite is not too good atm, im litterely having to choke my food down). But im also thinking of either doing an extra week at 20mg or upping it to 30mg this week.

    What do you guys think would be most benificial 20/20/20/20 or 20/20/30??

    Any input would be much appreciated

    I'd run the extra week.

    Very surprised your struggling to eat, i was starving the whole time while on SD.

    Any sides, headaches, lethargy, libido loss??

    I personally ran 20/20/30, and I feel I could have done an extra week, so it is completely up to you really? If you're not having much in the way of sides, then do an extra week.

    I've had no libido loss or shrinkage at all up to now, on day 8 of PCT.

    Cheers guys, for the first week i couldnt eat enough i was a human incinerator, 10mins after having a huge meal i was starving again. There are some days i just cant stomach food luckily its not constant. Tbh sides havnt been that bad at all...hardly any. Just got back from the gym and had quite bad shin and back pumps. That and a few extra spots on my back and chest, not suffered from lethargy, had a headaches on the 2nd day not neccesarily due to the sd do overall that side of it has been fine....its just the weight gain thats been disappointing.

    I think ill run it another week at 20mg ed then.

    Right, i have either had food poisoning or some sort of a bug yesterday, I was up all the night before puking my guts up as i was all of yesterday, i only managed to eat three slices of toast which i puked up, so wasnt a good day yesterday, didnt take any sd either. Today feeling a lot better not 100%, im hoping to be able to make it to the gym today not been since moday due to work and sickness. 

    So far though im quite dissapointed with the gains, my diet and training up untill wed has been spot on and iv not gained anywhere near what i wanted, compared to some whose diets havnt been perfect yet still managed really good gains. I cant have put on anymore than 4lbs?? wtf is going on. Then with people saying they also loose a little weight during pct im pretty fooked!

    Hit and miss on 30. I and others after using 20 with no sides for 2 weeks went to 30 but all it did was increase anger etc. Stick with 20. I was a little frustrated with a plateau in late week 2 mid 3 with no weight change. But by end of week 3 weight had increased again. Stick with your plan and I'm optimistic it will work for you. Get on lots of oats too with milk/water 2-3 times per day. A low volume good calorie delivery option for sure.

    The thin g is your diet has been water tight too. Have you lost any body fat (net weight loss) and put any identifiable muscle gain on (net weight gain)? There may have been some changes in these %s so the 'absolute' 4ib gain you speak of may not be illustratitive of the reality -it could have been more than that (weight in fat being replaced by weight in muscle?)

    Cheers for that, I think your right to me aesthetically i think i look different, plus people have commented saying i look bigger, and have put on minimal fat tbh. need to stop relying and obsessing over the reading on the scales i guess. currently been having only two shakes a day, gonna up that to three now.cheers
