    BT

The main reason being that one of the favorite excuses for ALL ISPs is "It's a line failt, you must contact BT". The good news is that BT really cannot use that one themselves. I've been with them for quite a while and they've always been efficient, reliable and reasonably priced. And they're not going anywhere.

There is no special "Magic" when choosing an ISP, no one company who radically out-do the rest of performance or price. BT just have the advantage of keeping it all simple as they own the local loops between the exchange and your house.

Please don't take what I say too literally. I'm a clown, when it's all said and done. Sometimes I say things with my tongue in my cheek to make people laugh, but please rest assured I am not laughing at *you*!

had them from the beginning when they acquired blueyonder. i have no complaints about their net service, customer service or payment processes.

UKOnline. I've never had a problem with them, and always get through when I have a technical prob. They do use an Indian call centre, but if they can't resolve it they put you through to Belfast and the service is always spot on.

Virgin Media...i have been with them for years (NTL before the takeover)

Never had a problem imo cable conection is more reliable, and i prefer plugging ethanet in to my desktop rather than using routers etc.

Good customer service, prices and i have not had a problem or technical fault to date..touch wood *touchers wooden desk repeatedly*

With the package I have my internet works out at £17.00 per month and that is with up to 10 meg bb.

I'd say Be or O2...they use the same network but if you have an O2 mobile you get cheaper broadband!
