Recovery supplement

Whats the best recovery/postworkout supplement? I would prefer something with waizy maize, no protein (to be taken later seperately of course) and some flavouring. Can't be bothered to buy the ingredients seperately need something simple and quick.

Simple and quick.. I wish LOL

Anything of such will come with a big price tag and from my experience not give all it promises to

Try buying all your ingredients separately and mix all together in an empty container... Your own perfect blend..... Totally quick and simple

    CNP Pro-Recover.

Designed for pwo recovery, comes in 1 simple shake. Sold in 1.3kg or 5kg tubs, and RTD bottles you fill with water and shake. Nothing more convenient.

    choc pro recover = heaven!

a pro recover then a good solid meal 1 hour after containing protein, complex carbs and healthy fats has to be the best for recovering.

get some pro recover you ll look forward to your pwo shake!

i tried Pro-Recover for the 1st time afew weeks ago, bought a shake'n'take from GNC when i was out shopping. Had it afew days later and it was horrible, was the strawberry flavour. Dont know if the others taste any better tho.

    still, its very convenient

You didn't mention money so I will recommend Biotest Surge (original flavour) as the most effective, best tasting and most convenient PWO shake I have used. Unfortunately you may need to re-mortgage your house to afford it.

I don't rate WMS, just my personal experience.

Pro-recover is okay, strawberry flavour is a little weak and I would rather not use anti-oxidants immediately PWO although thats not a major concern of mine.

Boditronics Profusion tastes good but has a lot of extras I don't need and I'm not a bodybuilder so my training is a little different and without out going into detail I would prefer a higher carb to protein ratio. I realise I can achieve this myself, which is what I do, but then I lose the convenience.

Just realised you are taking protein separately so the most convenient best tasting PWO carb drink would be blue Powerade.

Clubber I thought this at first but after a few servings I got use to it. it's a bit funny really but now I love it. BTW I had a shake and take in Choc and it didn't mix as well as the tub version which I had in Strawberry.

Not sure if it's the case of Choc not mixing as well as Strawberry or that it was a shake and take

I use Reflex Growth Matrix with some extra whey added into in to increase the content, other than that I found Maximuscle Cyclone to be very good as well

Come to think of it, i might check my chicks knicknacks when she comes home because my sex life has went massively down hill years ago

Anyone know what the idea combination of waxy maize to dextrose is for post workout drink immediately after gym workout?

I liked the CNP pro-recover chocolate flavour but I've always wanted to try waxy maize so went with that. I don't like to put myprotein down because pulse is my favourite supplement but bulkpowders appear to be very competitive - quick delivery, excellent packaging, good selection.
