Reflex Choc Whey protein, too frothy!!

Hi, I have tried and tested most protein supplements, but i heard good things about Reflex, so bought Reflex Whey choc flavour. Mixed it with water, taste was ok, but it turned out to be too frothy on top. I had to wait a bit, so that the froth would eventually dissolve! Also another problem I had with Reflex, the scoop is smaller compared to others.

If you want less froth then shake it less - Reflex have very little thickeners compared to most brands. You can even just stir it with a fork it mixes pretty well!

Regarding the scoop size the percentage of protein is the factor - in a 25g scoop you get 20g of protein whereas you often NEED a bigger scoop to get 20g protein in a product with lower percentage protein

Yeh i,ve found this with a couple of brands so I just mix it and let it settle for 5 - 10 mins!

As above, needs very little shaking. I shake it a bit, let it settle then another jig and its as smooth as being blended. Also, not using ice cold water will help

Never had the problem myself.  Quality brand, quality whey.

Reflex has always had minimalistic froth, if your lucky enough to get some i think you should endure and enjoy the froth.

To be honest, i've never had any issues with froth and i've used it for nearly 8 years. I generally just add it to water, stir with a folk as opposed to shaking.

With regarsd to scoop, i'm not sure that can be a critisism having a smaller scoop.

Never had this issue with reflex before - as the lads suggest - just shake it less.  Reflex is one of the easiest wheys to mix - quite literally a few shakes and it's done
