Refreshing lentil salad for the summer

I discovered this salad at a restaurant. I used to eat only hot lentils but this salad was made with cold lentils.

Buy fresh lentils, old lentils are not so tender. Put the amount you want to use in a bowl with water and let it soke for a night or half a day. Boil the lentils for about 10 min. and put them to cool.

Now the rest is just a simple salad where you add the lentils as another ingredient. This is how I make it. In each plate I put a bed of shreded lettuce, on top I put about 5 tablespoons of lentils, shreded fine onion, cucumbers and tomatos cut in small dices on top, and finally, a can of tuna. I then put some oil and vinager.

Hope you like it

Yum. I love lentils and this is a great way to combine them with tuna. Thanks.
