Relatively new to working out I need help to optimize the time and effort that i put in.

I'm 19. 5"10. I weigh around 65 kgs. I started working out in July and have been working out on and off since then. This is my first time on a forum and I really have no idea how this works. I'm following the workout plan that the trainer in my gym recommended. Unfortunately it doesn't include abs and the general lower chest area. I'd really appreciate any help I can receive in that aspect. Furthermore I don't consume protein shakes or any other kinds of supplements. I just usually eat whatever's made at home. I really want to lose the excess fat that I have in my chest and abdomen and work towards a more defined body.
Any help is highly appreciated

    Hi mate, welcome.

There's always a Hell of a learning curve to negotiate when you're just starting out.
At least you have spoken to a PT and that's the first step taken care of.
These forums are a godsend for many lads and the best thing you can do is have a very good look around all the sections. There are bound to be many of your questions answered that way. But ask questions in those sub-forums yourself. Perhaps even begin a journal?
Good luck with your training goals bud :)

Take a look in the nutrtion and training section there is some great advice in those section for beginners.  Just try and be patient and consistent with your training.
