The guide that came with my weights recomended resting no longer than 1min for hypertrophy but when i tried to stick to this i found i couldnt reach my required reps. i now rest about 2 and since have probli made the most gains. I read somwhere though that if u rest ure muscles much longer than 3min u give them too much time to recover, mite b wrong though.

i rest only as long as my breathing comes back to normal. High intensity workouts are great, quicker workouts to. and more of a burn in the end.

    Its up to you mate.
To increase the intenstiy you can....
    a) Up the weight
    b) Up the reps
    c) Reduce the rest period.

It all depends on your overall goals.
Keeping the same weight and reducing the rest time is nasty and burns like a bitch.
