Rock climbing

Have to say, have done rock climbing before but today just came back from a much bigger wall than I have ever done, and for me it was the hardest workouts ever, lats, arms and even legs are all fried, definately gonna have to join the rock climbing soc at my uni now, lol. Any wall climbing enthusiasts on here?

Id love to do it again for longer. I did a session of it in my first year of uni (6 years back) and really liked it....fortunatly I didnt go back as I was out so much....uni life eh.

When I get some extra cash Ill probably take it up.

Extra cash - how much would it generally cost to do every now and then.. probably at least 2-5 times a month?

The place I went charged me 2 pounds, and to use the wall in my uni is 2 quid too.

Absolutely! We BB's like to think we're very fit because we use a gym.

We are, but its a different kind of fitness. I always like to take some time out near the summer to do a different sport like Rock Climbing...and the first week or two are murder!!!

Im assuming that to learn the basics of climbing (training course) itll cost quite a bit outside of uni, to use the wall might be cheap. Atm every penny I get goes to training at the gym..and am tight on cash.

Want to take up gymnastics as well and thats like 4 quid a session If I remember rightly.

at the place i used to go to, if you have your own equipment then it's cheap, a few quid to use the wall... but when you have to include shoe, harness hire etc it can rack up to quite a bit

not been in so long tho now... reckon i'l try get back soon, great fun
