Rockstar Games latest sandbox adventure: LA Noire

Looks excellent, set in 1940's LA investigating murders and stuff. Suggest some really neat and innovative touches. My first thought was rebranded GTA, but it doesn't appear that way.

Anyone looking to get this?

The most recent console I have is a PS2 so I haven't played any rockstar games since GTA San Andreas.

The three GTA games for PS2 are just sensational though. I'd say my favourite is still probably GTA 3. Had so much fun playing that game in my youth!

I probably should get around to updating my console and playing some of the newer Rockstar games but I doubt I will ever get as much enjoyment out of any of them as I did from GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas.

Real atmosphere and attention to detail, they've recaptured 1940's LA from old cinema and photography. The villains and killings have some foundation in real events. It seems to go deeper, with interrogation etc etc. Although I've not played Heavy Rain, it seems to perhaps be occupying space between GTA and Heavy Rain?  A greater degreee of puzzle solving, as well as action. I'll grab Motorstorm Apocalypse this month and get LA Noire in May.

@ CK Vice City and San Andreas are quality games, could easily go back and play them from the start

Gash init?!  I have access to two networks, one I can't get on youtube, any email client, various other 'normal' sites.  The other network lets me on youtube but not ebay or tnation.  Neither will let me on imagehosting sites so posted pics I can't see either.

    Overzealous filtering I think.
