What are JJs lifts like - come to think about it what are ronnies like now? I have seen his lifts on cost of redemption but he doesn't 1rm on anything, always does atleast a triple.

Well heres JJs (according to MuscleTEch)

Bench Press (1 rep max.): 545 lbs.
Squat (1 rep max.): 825 lbs.

But ronnies must be well more than that!

i know JJ won a deadlift comp last year i think he pulled over 800. I think it would be close, if you ignore the bodyweight side of things and go on a winner take all most weight lifted wins then i would think JJ might just pip him but it would be close (and at least drug free)

I think it would be an interesting comp, but I think Ronnie would win.
    He's amazingly powerful.

    Johnnie Jackson would win

He is an actual real-life powerlifter/bodybuilder, whereas Ronnie is not. Ronnie's squats in Cost of Redemption WOULD NOT pass in a powerlifting meet, and he used straps when he deadlifted 800 so it WOULD NOT pass. His benches would also NOT PASS in a powerlifting meet.

You certainly have to recognise, as M5 alludes to, that JJ does train and compete as a PL which is a very different thing to being a BBer. No doubting that Ronnie is very strong, and if he concentrated his efforts to PL could probably post impressive stats, but he isn't a PLer and will suffer because of that fact.

some people should think before opening there mouth!

Ronnie used to powerlift before BB, since when in his videos did he need to hit parralell or pause and press??

But he doesn't now and hasn't for a long time, and as a result would likely not fair too well. No-one is saying he has to pause etc now, that's not the issue. The point is he won't be used to it should he try to and his lifts would likely suffer as a result.

Maybe you should learn to read before opening your mouth. I know perfectly well that Ronnie used to powerlift a long time ago... Remember to read the words 'used' to and 'a long time ago' in that last sentence, they're important. All people have to compare Ronnie's lifts to Johnnie's are video evidence, therefore my assertions that Ronnie's lifts in his videos are evidence of his lifts are perfectly reasonable.
