Ronnie Coleman's Pre Mr O 2006 Diet

This is taken right from the relentless video. What I want to ask is why cant I cut on a diet like this? Seems easy enough because of my work schedule. Looking at the list, it seems that you would only have to buy about 6 items at the store =)
1
90 grams of pure whey isolate
3/4 cups cooked oatmeal

2
12 oz boneless skinless turkey breast
4 oz baked potato

3
90 grams of pure whey isolate

4
13 oz boneless skinless turkey breast
1/2 cup cooked rice.

Well if you watched the movie (like i did) you would see that the diet I have listed is from Ronnie's personal nutrition trainer Chad. In the movie he does use No-Explode for his shakes so please dont call me a liar if you have never watched the movie. He does cheat on his diet using gritz instead of oatmeal for meal #1.

If you want to watch the movie download it using a to rre nt program like bit comet.

Sorry not allowed (you must have known as you had to add spaces)

    ok

do you need 90g of protein at a time?

    no

    is that a good diet?

possibly for ronnie, not for a recreational trainer

will it shift fat? yes if its hypocaloric

for long term health and body composition is it good? no

is that what olympia is about? no

are we always given the full picture on what these guys do? no

are there more suiatbel choices for you? yes

    ie

    one with fat and veg
one with less protein and more variety

This diet is just for 2 months before Mr O. You should see all the stuff he eats in the off season to grow.

bottom line unless youre as heavilt muscled as ronnie which you aint gonna be then his diet wil not work for you ro anyone else its designed for HIM ONLY. If youre looking to cut up mate have a read of the cutting articles in TT's signature, might give you a better understanding of nutrition than a video will

I have Relentless DVD as well and there is some very obvious product placement by his sponsors, BSN. For instance when Ron is mixing a protein shake what appears to be the entire BSN range is laid out on his kitchen table. When he is mixing up Cellmass and No Explode he has to check the labels to see what the recommended dosages are. Plus the way he sips and struggles to knock back his 90g of Snytha-6 doesn’t seem like the actions of a man who is using the stuff as much as the DVD suggests.

Also in the DVD when Ronnie gets his box of vitamins and minerals out and goes through what he takes, he also states that he is on prescription drugs for what he states is ‘liver and kidney support’. Plus he also states he is on prescription drugs to lower his cholesterol.

    That should say it all.

Did it mention his med cycle? How does that compare with yours and your statistics? Thought not.

Eat that diet (scaled to your metabolic needs) for a couple for months and you'd start falling apart at the seams. Many aspects of nutrition have be disregarded, and it would make whatever training regime you are undergoing less effective IMO.

IMO i wouldn't follow this diet cos he didn't win the 2006 olympia.
It would be a better idea to follow Jay Cutlers diet seeing as he won.
