Routine Help Required

Hi,

Below is my routine, I generally want to get bigger and muscualr.

Monday

Chest/Biceps

Bench Pess 3 sets
Incline Dumbell Press 3 sets
Incline Fly Press 3 sets

Pec Deck- pyramid 3 sets
Seated Chest Push 3 sets

Incline Power Rack 3 sets
Close Grip

Seated Dumbell Curls 3 sets
Machine Curls 3 sets
Long Bar Arm Curls - 3 sets

Rower 2k

Wednesday

Back / Triceps

Pull Down-Wide 3 sets
Shoulder Press 3 sets
Horizontal 3 sets
Shoulder Press - 3 sets
Parallel
Shoulder Press - power rack - 3 sets

Tri Pull Down - 3 sets
Close Grip Incline - 3 sets
Power Rack

Chair Dips - 3 sets
Tricep Machine - 3 sets


Lugs 3 sets

Friday

Legs/Back

Treadmill 10 Min

Squats 4 sets
Leg Press 3 sets
Leg Extension 3 sets
Leg Curl 3 sets
Standing Calves 3 sets

Deadlifts 3 sets
Pull Downs 3 sets

Stepper Level 9 300 Fl

Cross Trainer 10 Min

If you think I need re-organisation then please help suggest an alternative.

    I am sorry to say that really is an awful routine, have you looked at the routines suggested on this forum yet?

    I have to agree with Big-Al on this one because i think that you are seriously over training !
    Try doing a search through the routines on the forum

    I agree with 'Mr 8000 posts'. You're just doing too many exercises and they're the wrong exercises as well. Look at the sticky at the top of this forum.

    chest,back, legs 2/3 exersises 2 warm up sets on the first exercise then 3 heavy sets

    ie chest press 2 warm up sets 3 main sets
    flys 3 main sets

    arms, shoulders 2 exercises 2 heavy sets

    the split is fine 3 days change the exercises ever few months

    There are so many routines, what would the best be for me to seriously bulk up on a three day plan?

    i would also train triceps with chest. i trained them on opposite days for a while and wasn't progressing. when i started training them on the same day, i started making better gains. just a thought though.
