I know there are many routines to pick from but was wondering the most popular routine there is with the moves e.g bench press because im trying to get everything in my upper body like my pecs and arms bigger. so if someone could show me there routine and roughly how long they do it. p.s i need to know what a 'rep' is and 'sets'. p.p.s is it a really big problem if i spend 5 minutes doing weights everyday working on my arms because i have allways done this and there have been no problems and that inludes 5 minutes of situps

for an all over programe look in the Routines fourm and look for Frankies NY Mass programe he aint been around for over a year but his thread has had more hits and comments than almost everyone just take a look at it Im new to BB so some may obv give you diff routines but Frankies is simple and straight forward and ive packed on 9lbs in just a few weeks well 8 actualy and love it

A rep is short for repetition and set is a a complete number of repetitions ie if someone says or quotes this 5 x 5 they mean 5 repetitions of the same movment and 5 sets making 5 x 5 =25 repetitions of the same movement NOT one after the other obv but each set or 1 x 5 needs to be completed then take a rest and when you are ready do the next and so on until you complete the 5 sets or maybe only do 4 reps of the 5th set then it will look like this 4 x 5 and maybe 1 x 4 etc

its not a realy big problem for you to continue what you do but it needs to be taken into context idealy you would be better deciding on a routine and then doing the excercises in this and Only these.

HTH in someway im sure others will advise you more Good Luck
