Routine needed for cut??

Hey,

Going to start a cut after Easter. Im currently bulking and using a 4 day split routine. Is there a specific routine which would be more beneficial whilst on a cut??

Cheers

Id say just stick to lifting heavy (or whatever style you prefer using) and keep strength up, the main part of your cutting will come from cardio and a calorie deficit

I switched from 3 working sets while bulking, to 1-2 working sets for cutting and it has so far proved successful. The thinking is that my ability to recover is reduced while on a calorie deficit and this volume (with the same intensity/weight used in the bulking) has proved enough to maintain strength and even shown small improvements in some lifts.

    Thanks guys,

During my bulking ive been using a 4 day split and to be honest hasnt been very successful, i put it down to not enough calories (carbs) and training which i havent changed that much in the last year. Have been looking around and thought about trying TonyStarks long turn training cycle. Seems pretty hardcore but wasnt sure if this is sensible on a calorie deficit?? Or to save it for my next bulk after summer??
