Rowing Machines

Hey I'm new to this forum so this is my first post. Are rowing machines good for building the chest? Is it more of a cardio machine than a muscle-building one or does it depend on your body type (ecto, meso, etc)?

Thanks

A rowing machine with the moving seat is a CV machine and will do diddly squat for building your chest. A seated row exercise (resistance) will build your back (lats, traps, posterior delt, bicep).

    Hope that helps.

    Thats the one.

If you want to build your chest you need a bench press or something similar!
