ORIGINAL: beginner07 i have just taken up running in the morning and i need some advice. im currently runnin 3 times a week for about 2 miles, and will be increasing distance and intensity in the long term. runnin builds up muscles and in order for muscles to grow you need them to rest, so lets say if i run 7 times a week im not letting my muscles to rest and in theory they wouldnt be growing as effectively right?? please correct me if im wrong and also add in a few runnin tips and advices if possible. many thanks!!!
