yes step climbing is one of the best ways to burn calories. Most people think its easy and overlook its difficulty and benifits.
im just a bit worried about spriting up the steps incase you slip, but if your confident, then go for it.
If you cud time it to be sprinting 20 seconds and actively resting ( jogging bak up and down) for 80 seconds and then doing this for 10 sets, youd have an impressive HIIT workout. mabye you could sprint up, jogg down, and jogg around on ground until 80 seconds are up then sprint back up.
