Could you please tell me where this contest took place? Was it in the UK?

I think Brian Irwin has broken the UK log lift record (held by Dale Norris)!

Held in Belfast. All athletes done well, considering the weather. Team event being held in July. By the standard of these performances it will be a cracker show.

Pretty sure that Brian Irwin is the new log lift record holder then. I know both Brian himself, and Oli Thompson have done more in training, but only competition lifts count for a record.

Strongman Association for Northern Ireland. A no bulls?$t association, no fat cat promoters lining their pockets, just strongmen doing strongman. The way it should be.
