SD questions

Im on week 4 of Androhard/ID (600mgs /day), and about 10 days of SD (1st 3 days @ 10mg,  then 20mg)

I should noticed the SD kicking in by now right?

Weight wise ive put on about 0.5 kgs so far,

Strength wise I dont think I've noticed anything yet, maybe a slight increase but nowhere near what I had imagined

Im consuming about maintence calories,  (im after a lean bulk rather than a "all out eat 4k/5k cals daily bulk)

Maybe I should up my carbs a bit more I dont know!

i did maintenance on SD. weight went up ~2-3kg, BUT my fat % also dropped. I've always bulked on SD,  but wanted to see what it cud do this way... impressive results IMO.

Megavol (SD clone) took only a couple of days to start delivering big gains for me, but I was eating well over maintenance. You need to have something left over to build new mass with!

all the times i have used SD its been on a proper bulk

around day 4 will normally notice a weight increase of a few pounds
around day 7 the weight will properly start to go up

Must be coz im eating too little then lol,

Reason I didnt want to up my calories too much is I want to minimise fat gain, especially coming up towards summer soon,

Guess we cant have the best of both worlds!

Another strange thing is i have hardly suffered any back pumps of shin splints...Heck I even managed 25 mins of HIIT on day 4 or 5, Not done it since but will do HIIT again this Thurs or Fri

SD is a very carb hungry med, ramp up your carbs!!!!

You'll be amazed! How long you planning to
Run it? SD gains tend to taper off after 4 weeks hence 3/4 week cycles recommended. You may have already missed the boat!

carb hungry? ive run it on normal carbs, and higher fats, and it worked great. I think when people say its carb hungry, which is said a huge amount without any further explanation, i think it probably just refers to the idea that gains can be so rapid that you need the calories to supply this.

Or is served up as the solution to combat lethargy which I and many might suffer with SD in particular. Tend to find an excess of carbs leaves me sluggish too though.

For me diet and calories and principles remain the same on cycle or off - if you are bulking eat above and cutting eat below. If bulking lean 200 calories above maintenance and when using a PH where you will have an increase in protein synthesis and improved glycogen storage then look at adding a further 200 calories so basically eating on average 300-500 beyond maintenance - SD or not I do not believe it is necessary to exceed this and you will simply be left with additional fat when in PCT if you do.

Only thing in respect to increasing carbs is I probably subconsciously shift my diet from a 40/30/30 to more a 40/40/20 and try to get the fats in am and evening in particular when dosing the PH.
