SLDL

im goin to start TT 2 day split what can i do instead of SLDL as im a bricklayer so bending over most of the time and dont fancy doing them aswell. any other exercises i could do cheers

    Well i always find that hyperextensions, if you focus on utilizing the hamstrings rather than back, can reduce the backy feel of it.

    With good mornings, i think some people go down far too far and then it again becomes too backy.

    That would be my suggestions and reasons for them, yours may differ.

    Plus i am speaking from experience too as i always find that SLDL absolutely hammer my lower back, where as the above two as i have commented upon, feel more hamstring work rather than back.

    Using a bench on incline.

    Put heel underneath the pads (so im basically face down on the bench) and then lean over the top.

    Digging the heels in the pads just feels so much better than SLDL for hitting the hamstrings when i do it.
