SUC 2014 - TMuscle & MuscleTalk Overall Competition + POLL

Shape-Up Competition 2014
TMuscle & MuscleTalk Overall Competition

Both forums ran the same transformation contest and now it's time to decide who wins. I appreciate there's bound to be some bias on both sites but we need to do our best to judge fairly based solely on the pictures below!

Voting will close on Christmas Eve @ 12:00pm days time and the same thread will be posted on TMuscle.
Every vote counts!

Here are the entries:

Pooley (TMuscle)

Pagan (MuscleTalk)

Remember: Votes counted across both forums!
Vote for the best tranformation now!

This is a really tough one. I feel pagans upper transformation was bigger. But pooleys calfs look ****ing crazy lean...

Im gonna go with pagan. As im judging pic for pic on the changes i can see.

Also pooleys after shots appear to be taken on different days for some reason

Tough, tough call. If we were voting for front shot only, I'd have to say Pooley. Back shot only then Pagan. Both are incredible transformations- certainly neither would look out of place on stage IMO.

Pagan's V Taper does it for me.

Or he just c.rapped himself when he popped onto MT to quickly check his competition and had to change his pants.

I think Pagan just gets it by an absolute whisker. Shame no leg shots but I feel he has lost a touch more bf, love the back shot.

A mention surely though for the Pooley calf shot! If the legs looked that good from the front he would have taken it but the pic isn't great so quite hard to tell.

pooley

pooley did his photos outside in natural light, no pump and showed upper and lower.

pagan, no offence bro but you went the whole hog...studio esq lighting, fake tan and probably post gym session for the pump.

Yes its a competition but when its all about condition and someone plays all the trick cards to increase the apperance of conditioning while the other just stands in his pants in equal condition - minus the trickery... pooley wins

Can't disagree with much of that Aaron - certainly in relation to Pagan, BUT, Pooley is hardly innocent of the 'trick cards' as you put it, if indeed they are tricks.
You can see as well as me, that he's performing the Graham Norton 'limp wrist' and generally genetic hunched stance in his before pics while tensing for all he's worth in the 'after' variation.
Someone mentioned earlier about his calves. I know for a fact - that his calf in the first picture would be almost identical to that of the second picture in terms of separation had he actually chosen to flex it on that occasion instead of it being almost as a token gesture ever so slightly elevated.
Everyone knows the score when entering these competitions and it's up to the individial to display their physique to the utmost - while playing by the rules of course! :)

I just think Pagan on this occasion is playing the game better, but shouldn't necessarily be penalised for it.
I know a few people on T-Muscle have commented on leg shots, and yes - maybe in hindsight Pagan might have done well to include some. Food for thought next time around.

Now...who should I vote for LOL?!

Agree. Clearly different effort with regards pooleys pre and post poses

Also how do we know pooleys afters are with no pump? Just because he's at home? He might train at home, he might live 2 mins away from his gym. Some may argue that he cheated by having a coach.

We can all make pissy comments but at the end of the day just judge it as you see it.

Re: SUC 2014 - TMuscle & MuscleTalk Overall Competition + POLL 2014/12/20 01:21:58 (permalink)
Aaron, firstly it wasn't fake tan. I spent ages on the sunbeds and probably contracted skin cancer in the process. I do have some standards...

Mate, did you not read my comments on T Muscle? I wanted some very professional looking afters. I actually looked at having a local guy do full on studio shots. I may never look that good again ( which I appreciate isn't very impressive by many people's standards) and wanted to capture the moment in it's best light so's to speak. Frankly the MT SUC was a secondary consideration. As I also already stated I credited people with the ability to see beyond the jigger pokery and judge accordingly, which I think they did personally.

The leg shot issue I will take on the chin. I don't like my legs and I'd rather not have images of them floating about the Internet. There is nothing in the rules stating leg shots had to be included an perhaps this should be changed in future as ironically I think it's a fair point.

Re: SUC 2014 - TMuscle & MuscleTalk Overall Competition + POLL 2014/12/20 10:42:44 (permalink)
I voted pooley over on TM.
Not because I think he had a better transformation (I don't), but because he included his legs.

Don't see how you can judge a body transformation contest on half a body, however you look at it. It wasn't an upper body transformation contest.

Now, if that comes across as p1ssy, then tough sh1t really.

For the record, in the top halves, looking past both sides' lighting/tan/blah blah so fuccen what stuff, I put Pagan first by a comfortable margin.

However, my vote will always go to the bloke who shows the entire physique.
