Sacrifice?

Would you sacrifice something you love doing to achieve the body you have always wanted? I myself love to play this online RPG game hostilespace, lol, and it obviously involves sitting stationary for long periods of time which are detriment to me in wanting to achieve my goals.

My question is, should i just quit and get on with life, after all playing games are rather a waste of our existance? surely? what would you guys do? have you ever given something UP?

    Yes I guess so

Alot of people, including msyelf make the obvious sacrifice, money.. the second one is food, I am sure most people here dont really want to eat what their diet is, but its for their appearance, I am the same

I know nothing about computer games except that they turn normal healthy people into zombies.

Can't you play your game whilst pedaling on an exercise bike?

Why would sitting still for a while harm your progress mate? You can't be moving 24 hours a day. That would definitely be detrimental to progress!

Sit in front of your computer as much or as little as you want, within reason. Everyone does something to relax. Just train hard and regularly, eat decently, and you will progress

I need to stop using the internet so much to be honest. Must be clocking in around 5/6 hours a day atm, watching vids, forums, facebook, job hunting etc etc.

As said, sitting still is great for weight training! You only need to look at ravers to see how catabolic constantly moving is!!

I would be more worried about other aspects of your life if you're playing an online RPG game.. lol.

Depends how it fits into the rest of your day really.
I used to love xbox but now I I do cardio in the morning then i go to work, then after work I go to the gym for weights, by the time i get home and cook my evening meal, theres no time for gaming or anything else really so iv given up games to achieve my goals, well, except maybe for an hour at weekends.
If you have time/room in your life for both then great, if not then you have to choose which one is your priority.

Success in life is all about sacrafices but if your getting the the gym and your getting the good food in then a few hours of chilling out and kicking someones ass in japan is fine especially if bulking.

Its pointless sacrificing them unless they're virgins.

I'm a professional musician/recording engineer & spend 8-14 hours a day sitting down hardly moving.
It is in no way detrimental to my training, provided I still do my training.

If you are finding excuses to not train but rather continue gaming then you might want to look at that.
If you are the sort of person who finds it difficult to stop one thing to do another then get the training out of the way first.
I find if I leave the training too late in the day then I am more likely to let it go.

well i've put 6 pound on in 2 weeks. I am bulking, and i was a low weight when i started the bulk; like 6 foor 1 and 150 pound. But is 6 pound gain to much? it will probably fluctuate throughout the day by 2 pound. so.
