Salad and Preparation

To those of you who eat a salad as a meal with a source of protein exactly what do you have and how do you prepare it? There and then or do you cut it before hand, throw it in some tupperware and store in the fridge?

To me, a salad usually looks a little like this; Spinach, Cucumber, Celery, Spring Onion/Onion.

Pretty simple and easy to be fair. In terms of prepping, I stick to cutting/washing on the spot but I'm open to ideas!

    Buy a bag of salad - open - tear leaves put in bowl with 1 tablespoon of dressing and a teaspoon of something crunchy.
    Weigh out chicken put on plate (with carbs).
    I am pretty OCD and eat my food protein, carbs, fibre in that order !

    This is what I put in my salad if it's any use to you;

    Watercress leaves
    Spinach leaves
    stick of celery
    cucumber
    green pepper, half,
    sometimes part of a bag of mixed rocket, spinach and errrmm...the other thng that I can't remember just now...
    Sometimes tiny tomatoes, the plum ones, and sometimes chopped beetroot cos someone said that was good for you..
    Teaspoon of udos oil or olive oil, loads of black pepper, sometimes a bit of chopped chilli

    then...I add some fish or chicken chopped....
