Scot oats, tesco..

i bought some oats to add to my MRs aswell as for breakfast, but i've placed the oats in a plastic container and thrown the bag away, so now i dont now how to cook them lol. I remember something about 300ml of milk for 3mins in the microwave, but whats the amount of oats in grams that i use?? duhhhh

    what ever you need for your diet lol

    you dont NEED milk to cook them either water is fine or water and milk combo

    start with 2mins in the microwave full power see how they turn out and adjust

    you know you can also mix them into a protein shake too? - if that's any help mate?

    yeah, but i dont know roughly what the ratio of oats to milk/water for my breakfast. I need a rought guide like the 1 on the back of the bag ive thrown away. Otherwise my oats with be either to dry or to wet.

    Just need to know what it says on the back of the Tesco Oats bag for microwave

    If you do them i a saucepan, you can add milk / water as you go along, stiring it in.

    i dont normally eat Scottish oats so i dont know wether u eat them wet or dried up or what

    Different people like different consistencies, but roughly:

    50g Oats
    200ml Milk/water

    Try it and adjust depending on if you like it sloppy / thick.

    If you're doing it in a mic, give it 1 1/2 minutes and then take it out and stir it. Give it another 1 or 1 1/2 minutes and it should be perfect.

    I just add hot water from the kettle, 1 half cup oats, and mix them i leave them to stand for a minute or 2 and eat them.
