Ok. Here is the routine I'm gonna try, or at least start with.

All 5x5

Day 1-Chest/Triceps
Barbell Bench Press
Dips
Close Grip Bench
Flys

Day 2-Rest

Day 3-Legs/Abs/Shoulders
Squats
SL Deadlift
Military Press
Crunches (Weighted)

Day 4-Rest

Day 5-Back/Traps/Biceps

Shrugs
Hammer Curls

Day 6 and 7-rest

    8/20/03 Weight-180(estimated)
    DB Bench- 45 lb 2x5, 50 lb 3x5
    Dips- 1x3
Behind the head press-25 lb 3x10 ( I was afraid to do heavy close grip bench w/o a spotter)[V]

Note-Bench felt great. Need to find a better way of doing dips and get better at them. Need better Tri Excercise

Swap behind the neck presses for military presses or push presses...your rotator cuffs will thank me in the end.

I though you were doing shoulders with legs?

I think you have way too much volume on back day.

I'd lose the flys on chest day as well.

I guess I missnamed the behind the head press. Um. It's the tricep on where you hold one dumbell with both hands, bend your elbows down to parellel, and then extend.

Too tired after getting back from work at 10 30 to lift safely and with enough intensity. Will do back/biceps tomorrow.[V]

I seriosly doubt it. I go between 175-180 lately depending on time of day and how much I eat and drink.

Today is not gonna be back day as I had planned, but arm day, since I am sharing my weights with my bro today.[V]I'll show him to make me alter my routine once I'm bigger then him. I'm about to go, I'll put in what I did and all afterwards.

    CG Bench-1x95,1x115,1x125,1x130,1x135
Skull Crushers-1x45,2x55, CG pumps to failure
    Delta Pushups to failure
    BB Curls-5x55

Note-Today sucked. It messed up my routine because I had to follow what my bro was doing.

Don't follow what your bro is doing - chances are you're much more knowledgable if you've used MT well enough.

Well, thing is, we were both using our weights at the same time. Right now, hes bigger and stronger then me, lol, so what he says goes at the moment...

So? Doesn't mean he knows anything! lol
Get him to have a look at MT. That way you'll both be able to come to a compromise of which routine to use, not one he picks.

Well, now weightlifting class is getting in my way. Today we did bench 2x20 w/ 125, curls 2x10 with 55, upright rows 2x10 w/ 65, and 2x10 dips.

I dunno what I should do, I guess I will do back today, I dunno, I wanna do some deads. I don't know how I'm gonna keep my routine straight. I could quit weightlifting class, but they I would lose my access to the gym...[V]

Oh well, try back today, post up what I did...

    8/26/03 Weight-178lb

Deadlift-185lb x10 (5x5, id never make it on deads)
    Bent over rows- 80lb 2x5, 75lb 3x5
    Shrugs- 95lb 5x5
Hammer Curls 35lb 1x5 (was a bit tired by then)

Note-Still new to deadlifting and they are quite intense. They kicked my a**. Rows felt great, started a lil too heavy. Shrugs felt very very light. I was way way way too tired for hammer curls...

Had to move around my schedule, I was supposed to do this about 2 days ago, got sidetracked. So I was going to do it tomorrow, but I will be up all night cramming for an AP History test...

    6/29/03 Weight-177

    Db Bench-55lb 5x5
    Dips 3x5
    French Press-35lb 3x5

Note- I did a lot better on dips. Db Bench was good, although I need to buy more weight. French presses, well, they freaking killed my right wrist. My wrist grinded and popped the whole time, don't think I will do them again...ever...

Pre-Note- Would be doing legs today, but I played American football this weekend, up and down hills, and my legs have some killer DOMS. I don't think it would be a good day to train them. So, today is back day....

    Deadlift- 170lb x25
    (DB)Bent Over Rows-35lb,2x5
    Shrugs-135,5x5

Note-I SUCK AT ROWS!!! I SUCK SUCK SUCK AT THEM!!! Deadlifts feel good, and shrugs, well, my traps are tight and sore already. I just really need to work on ROWS!
