Seated dumbell press-against a high incline bench or not?

I've always done my dumbell military presses seated but it seems that I'm about the only one in my gym who does them without leaning back against a very high inclined bench.I've tried the high incline and it seems that I can use a bit more weight than normal.Surely the incline bench method eliminates the need for stabilising muscles to come into play though.Anybody got any thoughts as to which is better?

I've always preferred them against a high incline bench - as without there's a tendency to arch the lower back to force more reps.

    Personal preference I guess...
