Sensitive Hearing

As far back as I can remember I've always had discomfort with certain noises like dogs barking, fireworks etc.

Not sure why and it can be really quite irritating.

Anyone else suffer from this?

I did as a kid but the rave scene kinda burnt out my hearing a lot

Everyone has been in shape, but not everyone is IN shape, its about where your going not where you have been.

What sort of discomfort does it give?.

Certain sounds give me a sort of multiple popping sound.Difficult to explain really but very annoying.

It is only really certain sounds, I don't have amazing hearing or anything. Hard to explain the effects, it causes me anxiety and irritation. I could listen to music loudly without any problem.

Same for me.It's not the volume,it's the type of sound. It can be fairly quiet but maybe it's just the certain tone or decibel level that causes it.

I have real issues with background noise. I can be in my house watching TV but my ears for some reason prefer to concentrate on any noise it can thats in the background.
I find it really frustrating, especially when you ask everyone else "Can you hear that?" because its actually stopping me enjoying the film and they will all go "Hear what?"
Same in the cinema, could be watching the loudest scene ever but my ears zone in on the person 15 rows behind that is opening a sweet wrapper.
