Should i run another PCT over 12 months on?

Right, was on a course of Sustanon 250 500mg a week last year, last pin was mid sept and ran nolva pct.
Few months before this course had bloods done with GP and on a scale of 1-30 they came back at 24 and at 40 years old they were more than good! now since last year i havent been right since the course, felt ok in myself but my libido has never really returned to how it should and after dabbling with DAA, trib, maca HGW, L-arg and Act x nothing seemed to do anything.
Been totally clean for 2 months now and went back to test my levels.
On the scale of 1-30 im now at 17! im guessing the Sus course is the cause? or dodgy previous PCT?
Weird question but could i run another PCT 13 months on? or any other recommendations?

Thanks for reading.

ok man i'm 42 and i wouldn't run pct again. i'd go back on a good strong cycle, make up your gains, get your head right and THEN run a good pct at the end of you cycle incorporating hcg and clomid into your regime while still on cycle to kick start your natty test while still injecting. then i'd run a long clomid and nolvadex pct for 6 not 3 weeks like normal

i'm saying this because at 42 i dont recover as fast as i used to and i need a 6 week pct after a good cycle to get me back to normal

    for me i'd do:

500iu hcg for the last 3 weeks of your injectable cycle and any no injection time before pct
200mg clomid twice a week for the last 3 weeks of the cycle and any time before pct
then at pct i'd do this:
    day 1 - 60mg nolvadex + 200mg clomid
    day 2-21 40mg nolvadex + 100mg clomid
    day 22-42 20mg nolvadex + 50mg clomid

all with 1.5g of tribulus per day and i'd continue the trib after the cycle. i've found that i crash a week or 2 after a normal 3 week pct but am ok after this extended one. just trial and error on my part

but re your original question, you're still shut down so no reason not to jump on, get some gains, get your head right THEN do pct

or alternatively you could talk to your doctor re HRT? it's a viable option given your test levels mate and at least that way you're in control

I take great interest in these threads given my own TRT situation and great info as always Ninja. Just curious about you saying he's still shut down at a level of 17? I would kill for a natural level of 17 lol

At a level of 17 I'd say you're far from shut down. Yes its low for you but your body is certainly producing testosterone and well on its way to recovered.

The Dr will never put you on TRT with those levels. It depends on what you want but at 12 months I'd say your levels are not going to get significantly better.

You could run another pct, then get bloods 8 weeks post pct, see where you are and go from there. Then if you're still unhappy then you may have to consider self administration of TRT as the NHS absolutely will do nothing for you with a level of 17.

I really am a bit dubious about running another course, plus wouldnt that shut me down even further?

    Thanks for your replys!

Yeah another cycle would put you back at square one, if you're doing self TRT though this isn't a problem

Your test is fine, have you checked your other hormones? Estrogen, progesterone, prolactin etc, you might find the cause of "not feeling quite right" somewhere there.

Test levels are a good start but unless there in balance with other hormones it means nothing really.

I see where you're coming from with that but I feel ok in myself it's just my libido hasn't really returned to what it was and I was putting it down to the #7 drop in test.
I just want to bump my test back up to where it was.

sorry didn't mean shut down. what i meant was that he's not fully recovered as he's still not back up to where he was at the start.

but yeah 17 is far from shut down

still think the best idea is to reset the system. jump back on so natural test production stops, get some gains and hten do a proper big long heavy duty pct. i don't see that doing a pct now will elevate his test level but tbh i've never tried to do pct except AFTER gear so can only advise on what works for me and personally i think having a low test level and then taking hcg and clomid would just screw with my head. taking it with a load of test still in my system fine but not with a low level of natural test, i'd be suicidal within a week with hormones all over the shop.

If you don't wanna go back on then I'd just run nolva at 20mg ED for 4-6 weeks, along with some DAA, and then see where your test is at after that.

Train hard, eat well, and I'm sure they will have elevated some what, failing that you could go with Ninjas advice.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

I will persist with it, would nolva alone boost my test? Will I feel ok on it?
    Thanks btw..

Running another 4-6 week pct isn't a bad idea.

The limited pct I've done mate nolva and aromasin were fine, clomid had me wanting to curl up an cry my eyes out.

Nolva wouldn't be a bad choice, low dose for 4-6 weeks, wait 6 more weeks then get a retest. Nolva shouldn't turn you into a girl like clomid does

Have I just asked a daft question? 😀
I was under the impression nolva was more of an estrogen blocker?
