Shoulder Advice

Hey all, long time no see! I have been out of action for a long time now with a reccuring shoulder problem. I have been given the all clear by the doc to start training again now but I am concerned about what is the best type of excercises to use on my shoulder. Her advice was to build up the muscle around the shoulder (the injury btw was ligaments) but she said I needed to talk to a personal trainer about specifics! Seeming as I cant afford one can any of you guys advise me?!?

Cheers

    L-flyes: http://www.weightliftingdiscussion.com/lflye.html

    cuban rotations: http://home.eol.ca/~philla/bodyessence/Pages/Main/stronghealthyshoulders.html

those are the two that people normally recommend for keeping your shoulders in good shape. Should probably start on them myself, been getting a twinge in my right shoulder these past few weeks.
