Re: Shoulder Arthroscopy Repair surgery is this normal??
The surgeon normally give you a debrief after the surgery , mine did this three times. Luckily you are having arthroscopy, I had mine done open and that means detaching and reattaching deltoids and now its always a worry when pressing that it will snap.
the two arthroscopies I had recovery was 10-14 days ( unless there's internal stitching which they might keep you immobilised for 4-5 weeks) open surgery I was out for 8 years and it hasn't felt right since.
Before you go in make sure you imac your arm pit , first time I went in they shaved me with what looked like a tuna tin lid and it was severely itchy growing back , which is even worse when your immobilised as you cant scratch it
