Well Preesing of some Sort (Military, Dumbell ect ... ) is the way to go but i would suggest starting out very light and taking it easy! I know from experience that you can be pressing very heavy and feel fine then one day you go no heavyier than usual and have problems. Have you gotta physio or anything at the mo then? Have they given you the Ok to train again? What sort of shoulder surgery was it? Take it Easy Big Dog!
