Sky+ Tricks and Tips

Has anybody got any good Sky+ tips/tricks? I was just watching something and accidentally rewinded 7 minutes skipping all the adverts but not sure how - don't think 30x goes that quick?

you probably pressed and held the rewind button, which takes you to the start of the recording.  Likewise, pressing and holding the FF button takes you to the end of a recording.

if your not on the ball the 30x fastforward will go much too far

12x is easiest for skipping the adds

If there is something you really want to watch and might be interrupted in, then my advice is always to record it and then watch the recording, even if you are watching it almost 'live'.

it is too easy to flick channels or otherwise lose the cache that has built up.

    That's my biggest tip.
