Sky go windows 8. Any problems?

Sky Go isn't working on my laptop, well the sports channels anyway.
 
Just rang them up and the bloke says, if your using windows 8 that is the problem. I asked if there is a way it can be fixed and he said no. He says you will just have to accept it works intermittently on windows 8.
 
WTF?
 
Sky go is so heavily advertised by sky but they never mention it doesn't work well on windows 8- which, surely a large proportion of its customers will be using as it is the latest windows!
 
Has anyone else had problems with sky go?

    Yes, that was an extremely unhelpful reply but at least there was no bs about this may fix it or that may fix it. I think they are more focused on smartphone and tablet apps tbh, though. Hopefully it will work better for you in windows 10 when it comes out.

    Nope no problems here.
     
    Dont know any either, between family and work we use it a lot.

    That's what my mate says. This is why I was surprised he said nothing could be done as I thought it was just a fault with my laptop.

    Is it just the sport you cant watch, or do any of the other channels work?

    Just tried it this morning and everything works. The other day though it was just the sports, every other channel I tried worked. But all is good now hopefully it will work more often than not.
