Slin

Anyone know if the 2nd peak with slin is stronger than the 1st? or are they both the same?

Which type of insulin are you talking about mate?

Different types and mixes have considerably different peaks, the good thing about it though is that the manufacturers provide a lot of info online for diabetics, so it's easy enough to look up

    Hi mate

There is no second peak with novorapid. It has a single peak of short onset, shown here

    http://www.novonordisk....orapid/actionprofile.asp

If you're experiencing hypo symptoms in two "peaks" after an injection of novorapid, then this may be down to a lack of complex carbs (simple carbs may be used up quickly, leading to low blood sugar whilst the insulin is still active)
