Soy lecithin vs Sunflower lecithin?

Hi all,

Is it really worth switching from the normal soy lecithin based whey protein to sunflower lecithin whey protein? I think it's used as a binding agent or something in whey protein but is it worth changing at all? If so why? I know there is talks about the whole estrogen levels etc but would it make an impact in such small quantities?

I can see the TPW and BBW have the sunflower lecithin in their whey and with others brands like MP, GN, BP using soy lecithin.

Many thanks in advance,
Rav

SF is clearly soy free, so a favourite for those who want to avoid it, or who must (allergy).
    SF lecithin is allergen free.

Personally I use SF whey, and find a smoother mixing shake and a creamier taste than soy, and it is for these reasons I prefer it, not a soy avoidance.

It makes little or no difference whatsoever. Both to the estrogen and to mixing. It's just something people like to have a choice of.

Cheers, nice to know it wont make a difference even with a high quantity consumed of whey.

    I think it's an allergy/allergen thing
