Sqautting with dumbbells

Hi all,

Just wondered if this was advisable, as I haven't got access to barbells, are there any other excercises I could do for leg growth?

I've have access to leg extensions, but I would like more of a mass builder exercise.

Thanks

Ive tried dumbell squats a few times. I would say they can definitely be done though personally a barbell is preferable. I tried holding them up by my shoulders (almost as if i were doing back squats with a barbell, and down by my sides. I think the latter was more comfortable, but to be squatting with serious weight I found actually holding the weight was a challenge.

Yes, I'm having the same problem, as my dumbells simply arent heavy enough.

Would heavy leg extentions be ok for bulking?

Did legs last night using Dumbbell Single Leg Squat's.

I found them quite tricky at first, but they work really well when you get the hang of them.

I can hardly walk this morning, superb!
